Sounds great - very easy setup

Heather M Graham, Amazon
  • Summary: This system was very easy to setup - plugged in power and Ethernet cables, then speaker wire and just like that, we had music. The app on the phone is pretty easy to use and the sound is fantastic.

Works great and takes up very little space

Jerry, Amazon
21 March 2014
  • Summary: The SONOS Connect Amp not only looks good but works as well as my old Receiver while taking up very little space. I replaced a bulky Stereo Receiver (circa 1990's). The Connect Amp connections on the back are very logically laid out. In addition to the speaker connections, there is an analog line-in connection and also a Sub connection. For speakers I am using the Polk Audio RTI A1's, About $300 for the pair. These speakers work great with the connect:amp.

Awesome little device, but it won't replace a larger amp

BP, Amazon
18 March 2014
  • Summary: I bought this hoping it could take the place of my Yamaha RX-V665 in my living room. I run a pair of Polk RTiA3 speakers and an Outlaw Audio LFM-1 Plus subwoofer. The CONNECT:AMP sounds good when those three speakers are working together, but if I shut off the sub, there is a noticeable lack of bass in the front channels. Even if you crank up the bass in the "EQ" inside Sonos, it's still not on par with what the Yamaha can push through.

Have not dropped a beat yet!

Lars A. Selen, Amazon
16 March 2014
  • Summary: We replaced a SqueezeBox that was dropping and skipping to a point where it was useless. Our Sonos products have not dropped a beat yet. We play Internet radio, Pandora and our own library of some 3,000 tracks on a network server. Sonos products are not cheap but you get what you pay for.

Works great, sounds great

John Winner "JHW", Amazon
16 March 2014
  • Summary: I bought this to drive some stereo speakers (old Advent's) and to serve as the bridge for a wider sonos network. The amp works great, has an abundance of power for lows and performs flawlessly as the bridge between my home wi-fi network and the Sonos systems in the rest of the house.

Great product, but expensive.

Mark Winham, Amazon
9 March 2014
  • Summary: The product works like a charm. It's easy to set-up, non-obtrusive and produces great sound. No complaints on aesthetics or functionality. Docking 1 star because of the price. This thing is expensive! Would love to see some competition in the market to drive the price of this product down.

  • Pros: Easy to install. Easier to configure.
  • Cons: Price. Need a single unit that can drive multiple speaker pairs.
