Complexity of setup and requirement of wireless network for a speaker with an audio cable makes this a virtually useless product

Summary: I purchased one of these about 2 years ago to put in a garage gym for music, and I have another Play5 and a Play3. This Play5 worked fine for 2 years, then just stopped working. It cannot reconnect to the controller and cannot play over WiFi or connected with a cable.
Summary: How can you give this product decent reviews? Forget the sound quality, the Sonos app is absolutely terrible. Sonos and their engineers have successfully created, the least intuitive system in recent history. What other device has to be recalibrated, every single time it is unplugged?
Summary: I have a Sonos controller and two of the Play:5 speakers that are being replaced by this new model. Before you consider purchasing this or other Sonos equipment, there's something you should know: Unlike with other consumer electronics equipment, all Sonos updates are mandatory.
Summary: Microsoft is making the best hardware for tablets/phones & gaming consoles. I'm disappointed Sonos hasn't made a universal Windows app to run on Xbox, Surface, Lumia devices and more. Disappointing.
Summary: Do not waste your money on this piece of junk. It's wifi interface is terrible and it's very limited in what it provides. I've nothing but trouble since buying mine and truly regret this purchase
Summary: It is a year and a half and my system still does not work, either wired (that does not make sense because this is supposed to be a wireless system) or wireless. It occasionally works, but occasionally is not good enough. I bought a bridge to no avail.
