Works pretty well

Summary: This player worked well except for the clunky interface. It took too long to get to where you were going. I really liked the fact that you could integrate a hard drive into it and used that function often. I ended up replacing it with a Roku and connecting to my home pc with it. We use Amazon for most of our purchases and I update my reviews if anything changes with the products. I do this so other Amazon users can get a real feel for the life of the product.
Summary: I have been using this media player for the past several months. It integrates well with my television and internet capabilities such that it is easy to understand and utilize. There have been no problems with the unit and I am totally pleased with it's performance.
Summary: I did not realize this product is almost 3 years old. It does not play modern AAC sound files or the newer MP4 files. Having to re format my files to work on this machine. Cheap price and now I know why.
Summary: Great for netflix on line. Wife loves it and remote even controls volume on our stereo. For movie downloads,.. have yet to find a quality source and Hulu does not work as you cannot download from them. Would be nice if they worked out an agreement with Hulu. Other stuff on there is really nice. News when you want it, weather, sports, radio up the woo-hoo, Youtube also but limited search ability.
Summary: This device is great, especially if you have kids. We filled our netflix instant queue with a few kid shows and have them ready to watch for quiet times. The device was a little difficult to get started, but I am a novice at home networking. The problem was mostly getting the computer ready to share files, but it was also not totally intuitive when learning the GUI on the FreeAgent.
