Summary: This worked great for the first 90 days. After that it started having problems but I was willing to get the player to work eventually knowing the "warranty" had passed. Now I have to reset it constantly. Today it stopped working completely. I've only had it for 7 months.
Summary: Glad someone told me about this. I am really enjoying it. Simple to install and lots of entertainment. I have nothing to compare to since this is the first time that I have used one. I can even operate it and I am technically challenged.
Summary: Great item but newer versions would probably be better. Also, Roku needs to loose the fabric with Roku on it (purple fabric ribbon) because the letters fall off and it looks bad. Nice that it came with the HDMI cable. Great product for us cord-cutters!
Summary: I researched the Roku initially as a basic home theater solution for my parents. At the time I had a dedicated PC that I used for Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc. at my house. While my parents are technical, I knew they did not want to spend the time or money building a HTPC for their house.
