Summary: I purchased this to be used to replace cable by setting up XBMC, Netflix, & Hulu Plus to be watched from the two main televisions. So far, it was worked out great and I am saving tons of money by not paying the cable company for tv anymore.
Summary: The UI is very responsive, plenty of disk space, they wireless upload speed is great according to the Speedtest app. The problem is that the download speed is around 50 Kbits. !!??? That's almost unusable for streaming Netflix, requires constant buffering. Maybe the wireless is defective? I might end up sending this back, doing more testing on it.
Summary: When I go on vacation I like to bring my movies with me and since most hotels/resorts already upgraded to flat panel TVs with HDMI port this device works perfectly for travel. This unit is compact and I won't be upset if it's lost or stolen. It's not restrictive in formats it plays up to 1080p resolution. Just bring a hard drive and you can use your smartphone as a remote control.
Summary: This is one cool little device. It works fantastically, and I've had no issue with it. I use it for work as my laptop ( I have it on a clipboard with a Powergen battery, Favi mini usb keyboard, and a 7" monitor I had laying around) and it always attracts a crowd. I also use Droidmote server when I hook it up to the TV so I can control it from my Samsung GSIII.
Summary: item arrived on time. Unit was faulty power cycled constantly regardless of power source used. WiFi signal strength was very poor. Wifi router very close proximity of use (15ft no walls) Unit had to be sent back refund requested. The poor connection made it impossible to use the device to stream content without major artifacts. Downloading applications from the google play store was equally frustrating.
Summary: I was very impressed with the ease and speed of this unit. I connected my bluetooth kb / mouse and it worked like a charm. I have an 8 year old DLP Samsung TV. Wireless worked great and I was up and running. I have a 4 year old Toshiba in my bedroom - again unit worked without a problem. However, I have 2 brand new Sharp TV at the office. Didn't work. Kept restarting and changing the resolution. Clearly couldn't sync with those tvs.
Summary: I love this little PC. It worked right out of the box, AFTER I bought the usb power adapter, and the GearHead keyboard mouse combo, the cheap one for $19.99 at Fry's. I wanted to stay within an Amazon gift card I received, and I did. It came in at $96.00 total, which is an excellent deal for a PC, I think. The USB power adapter must have at least 2Amps, so many mobile phone chargers won't work, but the Kindle charger will work, and tablet chargers will probably work.
Summary: Where do I even start with this. I wasn't bait and switched like others are reporting, but this product has a number of insurmountable issues that made this extremely difficult to use. I had purchased this product for the sole purpose of streaming media over my home network to my TV, which barely worked. Like most others, the first thing I noticed was that I could not plug it in because it had no extension cable.
Good product, a power adapter would have been even better

Summary: I bought the Rikomagic MK802 to use it HD movie player, and for general web surfing activities. The product was pretty easy to set up - just plug into HDMI port on the back of the TV - connect to a power source and the unit boots up right away. The box came with an extended HDMI cable and a mini USB dongle (for powering the Rikomagic).
