Summary: I thought that this was a newer and upgraded version of the Popcorn Hour Syabas product, but rather it is a cost-reduced locked-down simpler version. It does not support local USB disk (although it has USB ports), and I found several other ways that it was more limited than the PCH products. I also found some limitations that I consider bugs, like the USB interface keyboard support - it works (sort-of..), but only arrow and enter keys are recognized, no alphabetics.
Summary: The latest firmware is a huge improvement over the original firmware that shipped almost a year ago. It fixes all the major bugs and problems that plagued the original firmware. The only major thing lacking from this firmware is premium content support from Netflix. I would have given it 5 stars. It plays DVD videos great over the network in either DVD file folder structure or DVD iso images. It's amazing. It's such a better way to manage and playback DVDs now.
Summary: Great product!!! With the new firmware updates this is finally the product we all thought it would be. Plays all the video I've thrown at it without a problem. Also allows the user to decide what videos belong where. I'm not going to lie and say that this has been perfect out of the box but it does what it is supposed to do now. TV shows all showing episode names. GUI has been vastly improved.
Summary: I purchased this model for one reason, unlike other models you can use ISO files. I have spent hours burning my DVD collection to ISO files.
