Worth the price.

  • Summary: This is by far the most powerful media player on the market. My high bitrate video files that would normally jitter on other media players are played as smooth as butter with this device. Love it.

Awesome - If you know what your doing

  • Summary: I have owned various popcorn hours from the a-100 to a-400 over the years. It is the best networked media play by far - will play anything you throw at it. Over the years the interface has progressed along with features but its not for the novice (plug and play it isn't) If you want that get something else, and stop complaining about this product, go get: Apple TV, WD, Boxee etc but them you will live within a restrictive environment.

Finally a great media player that can handle AVCHD without gaps

  • Summary: I have a number of A110, pop box and wd tv live plus players.I had PC based ones before too. The A-400 is the best by orders of magnitude for me. The NMJ interface make NAS movie browsing as good as that of steaming players like Apple TV etc. no more folder browsing one line at a time. it gives you picture covers, ratings, descriptions and sorting by 8 ways plus most recent additions first! This last is a trivial addition but so very practical.

It can play any format you throw at it which says something for those who have been disappointed. Anyone having issues and can't

  • Summary: This product has worked flawlessly for over a year now. It can play any format you throw at it which says something for those who have been disappointed. Anyone having issues and can't google should buy macintosh products. I just don't see where the problem is. My 65" samsung 8500 loves this thing right out of the box. Slap a 3TB drive in, get some (legal) torrents flowing (or netflix, amazon, ect) and you will never need a blu-ray player. Awesome product.

It works but not for the non techie

  • Summary: This media player is working great for me playing mpg, iso and mkv files from my synology nas. It is buggy sometimes but many of these bugs are being aggressively worked on in constant firmware releases. Picture quality is better than my cable box. Own an oppo bluray that bests it but this unit has a great picture. NMJ app for jukebox is awesome with an ipad. There are apps you can use as well from your PC that can allow you to modify the NMJ database files.

  • Summary: I own and use WD TV Live Hub, great small size player, but limited 1TB HD capacity dedicated HDD (can't swap HDDs), plus slow transfer via network, no USB transfer. I own and use LaCie LaCinema PlayHD larger 2TB HD capacity, but also dedicated HDD and no network connection, but good player and very happy with it otherwise.
