Summary: Even being a techy person, I had a hard time navigating the user interface on the Popcorn Hour. The remote has way too many buttons and many have cryptic names or icons. By experiment, it seems that several buttons perform the same function while other buttons do different things depending on what menu you're in. And without any documentation, trial and error is your only option.
Summary: Features and capabilities wise this is a good player. Drab interface, but pretty usable, far better than WD TV Live. Decent remote (although one I received was faulty - backlit keys would not light up). What disqualifies the unit is LOUD fan noise. Loud as a loud PC loud. Constant hum that even does not stop when the device is put to standby! And, no the fan was not defective, the noise level was about to be expected from a cheap high rpm fan like the one in A-200.
Summary: I just received this and I have to agree with the other poster here on the fan noise. I can hear it from over 13 feet away!! The box itself has to be the cheapest construction on the planet. I have no idea what the people at Popcorn hour where thinking when they decided on using it. Other than the noise the A-200 works fine. So sorry, I waited over three months for this. Its going back. This is ridiculous! If they change the box in the future I will reconsider.
