The Patriot Box Office is a media player that is optimized for full 1080P HD video playback, includes the latest in video processing technology, and a Dolby®/DTS™ encoder to create a HD video and 5.1/7.1 channel surround sound experience on one’s home entertainment system. With support for the most popular media formats (H.264, ISO, VOB, DivX, xVid, MKV, MOV, MPEG and more) the Box Office offers a variety of ways to connect to a media library, such as three USB ports for any USB storage device, internal 2.5 inch hard drive (not included), UPnP streaming, 10/100 Ethernet connection and optional WiFi USB adapter. The Patriot Box Office also has HDMI and composite outputs, and is aimed as an all in one solution combining high definition media play back, file copy/ move/ transfer capability between sources, P2P download management, industry’s leading video preview function, and is compatible for internet video streaming with 3rd party software.

Features

The Patriot Box Office features Full HD-video playback up to 1080p, Dolby® Digital and DTS™ surround sound and has an expandable internal storage via 2.5" SATA SSD/HDD. The unit also supports three USB ports, HDMI 1.3 and composite video connection (HDMI cable & composite cable included) as well as UPnP support. This allows users to connect the device with any USB storage devices and play content from most USB drives or any portable device that can be recognized as a mass storage device. Uses can also experience HD video and audio with Dolby® and DTS™ surround sound. The unit comes with an included remote control to navigate and control one’s media collection. Other features on the Box Office include Network Streaming for streaming media files through wired or wireless (optional wifi adapter required) home network from desktop PCs; ability to copy or transfer files between connected USBs, the internal hard drive (not included), network PCs or other network attached storage (NAS) devices; a PC-less download management; Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) for streaming on UPnP cabable devices such as Sony Playstation® and Microsoft Xbox®; picture viewing capabilities through creating custom slide shows and add one’s own background music and movie preview and playback. The High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) port lets users connect to the highest quality HDTV or home theater, and an additional composite (RCA) outputs ensure compatibility with virtually all television sets. The Box Office Media Player comes with a remote control with batteries, composite AV cable, HDMI 1.3 cable, AC adapter, Quick Install Guide, Software and CD Manual.
