Not compatible with my computer
10 March 2014
Summary: NETGEAR wasted my time telling me that this was the product compatible with my computer. Well, it was not and after 5 hours with 4 NETGEAR reps/experts they finally confirmed what I knew. I had to return it to the seller. This was handled very poorly by NETGEAR.
Netgear Universal Push to TV Adapter terrible range. I don't recomend.

Summary: Terrible range. My computer is 8-10 ft away, albeit through an open door to the next room, but still line of sight, and best I could get was a changing frozen frame every few seconds if at all.
Summary: We purchased 4 of these devices and have had 2 go bad in a 6 month period. Contacted Netgear support and was told yes the device has gone bad but they are sorry they do not have any they can send out to replace. They will call us when they do. Really!?!?
Summary: This item worked (albeit not as advertised -- HD doubtful) for approximately 6 months. First, the sound quit working. Tried to get help from Netgear's website. What a joke. They sent an e-mail back telling me to disable my firewall.
Summary: DO.NOT.BUY.THIS.PRODUCT. There are known issues. I bought mine through Dell, and it did not work out of the box. You may only exchange after going through "troubleshooting" with a tech at Dell.
Summary: I have a Netgear wireless router and extender so was very disappointed in the performance of this product. It sets up very easily and connects fairly quickly. However, the range is very limited.
Summary: I probably just had a bad one, but I couldn't get it to connect to the TV after the first few minutes. When it was connected and I enlarged the picture it was very poor quality. The laptop was about 20 feet away and had direct line of site to the device.
