Summary: I purchased this product for the QWERTY keyboard remote. I didn't want to hassle with using my smart phone as a remote in order to use ROKU the way I wanted. While the QWERTY keyboard remote is handy, NeoTV does not allow you to browse the internet or choose/download new TV apps. That is why I rated this product as I did.
Summary: I have a bitter sweat feeling about this one... it takes for ever to turn on. It gets very HOT if you leave it on. but once that is on is actually working just ok for me... IT does have great features....is the best one out there in terms of features..but they have a lot of failures when using.... example Network needs to be reconnected very often. if you have a network drive sometimes it can be seen and some times not..
Excerpt: There are lots of channels to explore - more than I was expecting. I use it mostly for Netlix. It sends a beautiful signal to the television but sometimes the unit is slow to respond to the remote when pausing play, or perhaps it's Netflix that is slow. The WiDi feature is very helpful because it converts my TV into a smart TV. I've left one star off because two buttons on the keyboard side of the remote don't work: The caps and alt keys, but that can be worked around.
Summary: Bought this to use with widi / miracast. It came with an older firmware, but was fully functional. After a few days the latest firmware became available. I downloaded it and - to date - it just works without any problem.
Summary: Don't waste your money like I did 3 times. After the first one quit after two weeks I exchanged it but when the second one quit it was too late so I stupidly bought number 3. Yes, I called customer service who said that I couldn't get a refund. I have since bought a Roku which is only a few dollars more, much easier to set up and works like a charm so far.
Summary: Purchased this as a Roku3 alternative and it works well but the only complaint I have is that it is way too slow comparatively. Sounds petty but when you have to wait sometimes as long as 10 seconds to load an app and with the Roku3 it is an average of 1 or 2 seconds it adds up. I know, wah wah wah... Would purchase for the kids though!
