Summary: This works pretty good as a media player from hard drives.I like the fact you can use cover art to list your music and movies. I have my entire media library on two 3 terabyte hard drives and it catalogs them fairly well. You will have to obtain meta data files for your media. That will take sometime.Good winter project for you. The con is it won't play youtube videos and they don't seem to be trying to fix it.
Summary: This is an interesting product and streams nicely from my LAN. Unfortunately it does NOT support netflix, or amazon streaming and it appears that the company is no longer pursuing netflix certification. If you have a large number of movies stored on your network, this might be a worthwhile product. Most people however, should look elsewehre.
Summary: This media adapter disappointed me. That is not to say that it is a bad media player. That statement is, after all, subjective, based on my expectations. You see, I own and have reviewed the NETGEAR Digital Entertainer Express (EVA9100) . That player is, in my opinion, the best player of its kind, on the market. My disappointment, then, is based on an inescapable comparison to that player. In addition, this review is slanted towards the player's ability to show movies.
Pretty Good Initial Effort. Video Playback is excellent. GUI, Pics, and Music need a little work

Summary: Overall not a bad peice of kit compared to the boxee box and a lot of streamers at release. its not perfect and still needs bug fixes but it plays BD Iso and plays m2ts files Both trueHD and DTS-MA bitstreaming and decoding (all work well) DVD ISO's with menus work well Decent Movie GUI (used Media Center Master to create the cover art, fan art etc).... Works with my Harmony universal remote Support playlists and plays back all the different audio files correctly.
Summary: Did not buy this from Amazon as it was not yet available. Found it at my local Fry's store. I read many reviews on different media players including popcorn hour, sagetv, boxee, roku. This one seemed very nice for blueray support. I needed a box that would support reading ISO from my NAS. Reviews said this could be done. I had installed this at my friend's place first. Wizard came up and networking worked. Prompted me to upgrade to latest firmware which I did.
Question décodage il assure !
