The NetGear NeoTV 550 is a media player that supports high definition output and is designed based on the Digital Entertainer Elite, minus the 500GB of internal storage and access to VOD services like CinemaNow. It is capable of playing a robust list of codecs in full HD from a variety of attached sources like USB, eSATA or SD storage, as well as streaming content from UPnP, DLNA or WMP11 networks. The 550 also supports external Blu-ray drives and BD-Live; and provides access to files stored on a USB drive and SD card. It retails for $219.
