Works great ... not sure what to expect from Support in the future

J. R. Burns, Amazon
18 March 2013
  • Summary: Purchased this before the LenovoEMC joint venture was announced. There seems to be new emphasis on consumer/small business storage; not clear about the fate of media players. Meets my needs very well.

Great little device but...

Blanchard "Dr. Carter", Amazon
15 December 2012
  • Summary: I think this is a great little product except for one thing. I wish it would pickup a movie from where it left off. I use a program to backup my DVDs to a Terabyte hard drive. This device will read the movies in the VOB format which is great!

Iomega tv

Indy, Amazon
16 November 2012
  • Summary: This device was not exactly what I expected, I bought it for the wireless and online experience it offered. Unfortunately I have a problem with it locking up when I use the YouTube app. And sometimes when I'm streaming video from a local computer.

Does what I need it to do

HD Fan, Amazon
1 August 2011
  • Summary: I've had several media players (WD Gen 1, WD Live, Asus Oplay), this one is by far the best one of those. Seems like everyone has different uses and opinions, all I know is it plays what I throw at it.

Great when wired, but lacks WiFi out of the box

A Conrad "Ask Conrad", Amazon
15 July 2010
  • Summary: As the title suggests, this works great when wired through the router, but the "WiFi" feature leaves much to be desired. I was able to play various video file formats, including mp4, AVI, DivX, and H.264 (HD), as well as various audio file formats, including mp3, AC3, WAV, WMA, and AAC.
