In his departure guess it was good

Chalvami, Amazon
30 January 2013
  • Summary: But buy it now was not a good decision, little configurable, the subtitles are very small and there is no way to increase it, the audio does not work with files with DTS, youtube does not work for the new api and you can not upgrade the operating system, since firmware support from Iomega was closed.

Bad browser. Do not buy this product if you intend to use to browse the internet- It does not support my ext. USB hard drives

ABDUL A ELFARRAH, Amazon
23 January 2013
  • Summary: The order was made on Dec. 27, 2012. Per the tracking information, "wrong address". The original shipment went unclaimed due to being sent to the wrong address (The seller did his best. no fault of the seller). The seller was kind enough to re-send the package as a priority mail, which arrived yesterday.

Decent for the price, but not the greatest.

Chris Polk, Amazon
10 January 2013
  • Summary: Doesn't work with larger hard drives, very slow to load and sports a USB 2.0 connection, and for some reason it only plays in black and white on my main T.V. I'm sure it was great for it's time and for the price, but I found it lacking.

almost useless

Stan, Amazon
3 July 2012
  • Summary: I bought it in Fnac Belgium for 120 EUR. It is pure disappointment: a) cannot play all youtube files: it says "Video is not available", b) cannot register this device for Divx VOD although manufacturer claims that it can be done, c) the device gets so hot that I think it can cause fire at home if left turned on and without attendance.

Too slow and Clumsy remote

Nicole Oliva, Amazon
8 February 2012
  • Summary: This thing is way too expensive for what you get. I hate the remote- it's so slow I could cry. Going up and down my list of videos takes forever, there is also no short cut like choosing a letter to jump down the list of files. Sometimes you push a million times and it doesn't respond, other times its really sensitive. It also hates rewind and when you fast forward it doesn't want to stop.

Iomega made a big mistake for not allowing files to be viewed on text.

Jose M. Garcia, Amazon
7 January 2012
  • Summary: I am a karaoke fun I enjoyed the TV Link version of the Iomega although it was a very limited version it was able to do what a karaoke media player can do, their new products are not as good as the older model...

Sort of works... Sort of doesn't.

TenesmusD, Amazon
25 June 2011
  • Summary: Browser feature is worthless. Do not let that factor into your decision. The settings that you can change are very limited, and offer little flexibility in the way your interface behaves. Most notably, changing the movie files from list view to gallery view: for one, despite the advertising telling you that you can do it, there is no way to add an icon or preview image to movie files (such as the DVD box cover).

Playback good but many flaws

Stephen Koch, Amazon
30 April 2011
  • Summary: I have this and the also bought the accompanying wifi adapter for streaming video to my TV from a variety of devices. The range of files and codecs supported on the screenplayer are good, it plays a wide range of files mp4, avis, mp3s. The playback so far has been great without any stuttering or lagging and with the video and audio in sync and it looks better than when i connect my laptop direct through hdmi. The reason for the two stars is for two reasons.
