Summary: Overall, this a great unit and I am very pleased with my purchase. As said, it much easier than me hooking up my laptop and copying my videos to a thumb drive to play on my TV. I haven't tried going wired yet but I'm sure it would run a little better that way and I probably wouldn't be having some...
Pros: Plays my DivX videos smoothly over the wireless (I'm using a Linksys G router w/ WPA enabled) with great resolution. Makes watching my videos so much eaiser than before when I was using thumb drives and a laptop. Another great feature about the product is that it comes with a USB port on the fron...
Cons: With the wireless, it sometimes disconnects from the DivX Connected server or the server freezes up and I have to go restart it (I'm running Vista so that probably doesn't help). The unit takes awhile to connect to the server upon startup, but then again I am kind of impatient.
Summary: I have mine connected by wire to a gigabit switch. I have not played with the wireless settings because of the wired ability.
Pros: It works much to my suprise. I have read horror stories about other media players (D-Link and Netgear) being DOA or having issues that made them less than useful. I installed this on my HP Mediasmart server so that it would be accessable from everywhere all the time. The Divx Connescted Server is...
Cons: I wish it supported more video and music formats. My friends share flash videos because of their smaller size. I have to convert them to .avi or .wmv files in order for them to play. You would think they would also have some type of support for iTunes and the .aac file format for the iPod/iPhone....
Good starter streaming device... with limitations!!

Summary: I bought this as a replacement for an older Pinnacle 'Showcenter' which has seved me well until it's rather sudden collapse. Initially I was attracted to the lovely user interface of the DSM-330 which is by far nicer than most on the market today.
Summary: This device does everything it says on the box, but is best used after a bit of planning to get the best results. I have two of these devices linked over a Devolo mains home networking system (up to 200 mbits).
Fantastic bit of kit but Stage6 has been shut down

Summary: This is one of the best video, music and photo media streaming devices around. It works with no problems and very very easy to set up to the wifi in your house. So you can keep your computer upstairs with all your musis, video and photos on and this box in your front room under your TV.
Summary: I just bought a new DSM-330 even though they are now discontinued, mostly because I couldn't resist the value of it given the price. I spent around 1-2 hours getting it setup and playing around with it and here are my first thoughts. Pros * The unit itself looks great.
Summary: Excellant system, easy to use if you are skilled at programming to use add-ins. Works really well with DivX Video and Jpeg files But NOT with standard DVD's or streaming television. However, it does not claim to do so
Summary: Good product for watching DivX or AVI movies and your photos and mp3. Loses 1 star for the following issues: a) Is a bit fiddly to set up on WiFi took me a good two hours to sort out b) DivX Connected has to be running on your PC while you use it and it sometimes takes loads of memory up, I have had...
Summary: I just purchased this machine from Amazon and have to agree with the majority of the reviews - this is an excellent machine that works perfectly. I had one problem with the wireless setup but this was down to my set up. The DIVX support was fantastic and they resolved the problem for me.
