Summary: I have been using this device for a year. The biggest advantage of this device is that it is wife compatible, very very easy to use. The box does not have an internal HD and depends on a running PC,laptop. It has the ability to connect any PC that runs the Divx Software around and stream multimedia. The downside is it does not support some important things, at least for me , and that is why I am giving 3 stars: 1) No DTS Audio support.
Summary: The D-Link DSM 330 loaded with DivX Connected software is a media manager that connects your digital files (music, video, photos & online content) with your television. DivX Connected bridges the gap between desktop and home entertainment center, however, the lack of comprehensive codec support, limited online content and heavy price tag for the DSM-330 are areas where these products could be improved.
Summary: This item works ok,i find the playback a little jerky in other words not smooth which isn't ideal but watchable. It took a little while for it to communicate to my wireless router, but did do eventually by itself.
Summary: Easy to set up and value for money, but as they say you get what you pay for. It is a bit slow, and not masses of features but then for the money what can you expect. I like it and think it does the job i bought it for really well, my partner who is far more into gadgets and technical things is not impressed hence thed 3 - personal opionion.
Summary: Lovely piece of kit. However, prospective purchasers may want to know that the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 do this job, though not quite as well. The PS3 especially is great - it works wirelessly and streams a video to your tv pretty quickly. There is some loss of video quality, but it is sufficient for lower-resolution video.
Good at streaming DIVX but nightmare to set up - might be worth waiting to see what else comes out

After 2 hours of trying to connect by removing wireless security etc managed to find a link to an independant website [...
