Summary: D-Link DivX Connected HD Media Player (DSM-330) I have been waiting for the US introduction a long time. Basically it performs as advertised, except for one major issue. I have been unable to get sound on the HDMI interface to work with my Sharp 65inch LCD.
Summary: I almost got this, but due to lack of AC3/DTS audio support not going to get it. The MediaGate MG-450HD goes for same price, and offers internal HDD expansion which can be used as a NAS. That one does lack 720p support for DivX, but supports WMV-HD and MPEG2-HD.
Pros: The SCART to SCART cable is actually a SCART to Component HD cable, which allows 720p connection to older TVs that do not sport a HDMI plug.
Cons: It has no AC3 or DTS audio support and DVD ISO support is unknown.
Summary: 1-set up ok in 30 mins 2-no problem playing all of my media files 3-Could not conect to my Full HD sony via HDMI, but ok with supplied scart 4-Failed to recognise HDTV and only works in SD(standard Defenition)
Summary: This plays back Divx streamed from your PC. Image is good and sound quality is also good. Plays AC3 fine. Would like some more control over the aspect ratio, but overall the best networked divx player i have had.
Summary: I bought the DSM-300 because I wanted a wireless media player, unfortunately I couldn't get the wireless to work at a satisfactory speed even though I've got XBMC working fine on the same network.
