Summary: You can't go wrong when you buy a media streamer for $7 that's not just "for parts." Unfortunately, it won't work with our Windows 7 & 8 laptops, but it does work with my work laptop running XP. I may be able to use it for a presentation. I bought the Roku 3 on Amazon, too. That will handle what I truly wanted this to do, but for $7, I can't complain.
Summary: I first tried this product using a laptop with 802.11g. I was streaming video from various sites on the internet (watching movies) and then putting them in fullscreen mode. I experimented with photo and video mode. Video mode is lower resolution. Now, using the 802.11g on my laptop and 802.11g on the device, on an 802.11b/g/n network (My router is a DIR-655). This resulted in choppy video. The audio was fine, but the video wasn't.
