Summary: As you can see, I'm a (Verified) buyer. So I honestly did try this product. I was a bit disappointed. You pretty much gotta buy everything else.
Summary: The boxee appeared to be very unstable. It locked up about 10 times in 2 days before I returned it for a Roku 3. I now have a Roku, Roku 3 and a WDLive Plus.

Summary: Boxee is no longer supporting this device in favor of their smaller cheaper box. I hear the Boxee Live is as bad as most other players on the market.
Pros: Plays files from my personal library as well as a huge collection of channels. RF remote, fast response, nice interface.
