Summary: Cable TV rates keep going up. Why pay for programs and networks you never watch. You can choose your own lineup, channels, and stream from a Mac, iPhone, iPad. Has many of the same channels as cable, some free, or with low subscription fee. Happy!
Pros: Attractive Design, Fast Setup, Simple Controls, Works With Apple Devices

Excerpt: I bought my first Apple TV, I love it soo much and went back to get another one. I told my family and friends about it, they also went and get some for themselves. Keep up a good job apple. Please add more apps. If Apple TV have more apps, it will be a number one off all.
Pros: Add More Apps Please, Fast Setup, Simple Controls
Excerpt: Works fast and mirrors everything on iPhones & iPads quick and easy. Chromecast is cheaper, but you don't need to be attached to your cell phone to use an Apple TV with its own remote. Great Netflix interface too.
Pros: As Easy As Pie To Setup, Fast Setup, Simple Controls
Excerpt: A great device, works nicely but setup for Airplay needs to be explained better. I have a Roku and wish Apple TV had as many channels so I could completely switch. Remote is small and easily misplaced. Remote app on my iPad does not work as expected so I will probably not keep it.
Excerpt: The Apple TV set top box is a great way to enjoy streaming content on your TV. However, due to cable companies contracts with content providers many of the channels require cable service authentication, making the content unaccessible until you link a cable subscription to the content (not all providers allow access and which providers do allow access varies from content channel to content channel). Great to stream content from Mac and iPhone with strong wifi signal.
