Summary: When first connected, it would not detect any wi-fi connection. Fiddle with it for several hours to no avail. Called Crutchfield tech support and was offered to return the unit at their expense (Fantastic tech support by the way, always helpful and friendly service).
Pros: Easy to use
Cons: Not much features. Occasionally dropping wi-fi, might need to reset the unit to get it reconnected.
Summary: I ordered this latest version on 11/23/12. As always I order from Crutchfield, the package was delivered very soon and in excellent condition. This was an upgrade from my previous Apple TV 720p vs. this latest version, 1080p. With the previous version I never had any problem.
Pros: Compatible with all Apple products
Cons: Not so compatible with non Apple products, like this one, Netflix
Summary: I suppose it is my fault for not realizing, but I bought this with the sole intention of using it on vacation.....only to find that because it doesn't support a web browser, I couldn't enter the password and therefore, couldn't use it. I suppose I will be able to use it at home, however.
Summary: PROS: Good product, and conceptually it can be a very nice compliment to any entertainment lifestyle. The interface is great looking, when it works, and the streaming ability while playing high quality movies is very impressive. CONS: Apple intentionally limits this hardware with small disk space.
Summary: I purchased this knowing that all I was getting was a solution to having to connect my iPod to my home theatre every time I wanted to watch TV shows and movies I had rented or purchased from ITunes.
Summary: Linking up to iTunes worked flawlessly. Syncing up to my computer(s) did not. I've had several technicians look at it but we keep getting partial solutions. I have a standard LinkSys WiFi and we've checked it out. Sometimes my computer will "see" the Apple TV network - other times not.
Good, but I must ding it on a couple of important items

Summary: Disclaimer: I am a huge (but no longer kool-aid-drinking) Apple fan. It's good enough, and the rest of the reviews here attest to that, but now having my own, I have to touch on a couple of things that nobody has mentioned yet. 1) There is no way to shut it off.
Summary: After having the AppleTV (that is such a bad name) for about a year, here is the quick review. Viewing photos and listening to music on the unit is great! This is by far the best streamer out there for these 2 things. I have had many in the past and they were ALL bad. This one is great.
Summary: First, I love Apple products and wanted to like this one. Out of the box it installed as easily as you would expect from Apple, and I had it up and running within about 90 seconds of opening the box.
