Summary: I had previously used Microsoft Flight Simulator X but have switched to a Mac, so I bought X-Plane 9. The game is fine although the settings are much more detailed and therefore, in opinion, much less 'plug and play' than FSX. The detail in the game is also a lot more basic that I was expecting. In the end, I installed a Boot Camp Windows 7 installation on my Mac and installed FSX.
Best flight sim available on the market, but could get better in graphics
21 February 2011
Summary: I switched definitely from PC to Mac for almost a year now and this is clearly the best flight sim available on the market, both for PC and Mac. Overall outstanding performance, much better than other flight sim's like, for example MFSX. The only thing that could be better is the graphics that despite over 60GB global scenery included are lacking, sometimes even in the most common places. Hopefully this will be better in the upcoming version!
Summary: Just opened the box. Instruction in french!!! have to look for manual in english, so at the moment just one star (not much fun, not to mention overall performance) few months later game is good but should have some kind of - step by step for beginners.
