The Sims 2 University

The Sims 2 University is the first expansion pack for The Sims 2. It is a life simulation game developed by Maxis and published by Aspyr Media for Mac OS X. It only enables single player mode. It is rated as T by ESRB, M by OFLC and 12+ by OFLC.

Features

The Sims 2 University expansion pack allows Sims to become Young Adults and go to University to n a degree, allowing them to take up any one of four graduate-exclusive careers. This expansion pack has added new features including a simple instrument system, comprised of the new guitar, drum kit and bass objects. It enables multiple Sims to play these instruments together. Besides that, it also allows Sims make money by playing a gig at their homes or at the community centres such as music clubs and coffee shops. Moreover, it also features three pre-packaged college towns namely Sim State University, La Fiesta Tech and Academie le Tour. These towns are linked to a specific neighbourhood and preserve the same separation home neighbourhoods do. Plus, there are three further types of residential featured including dorms, private housing and Greek Houses. In term of education, its college system comprises of classes, majors and rewards elements. There are 11 different majors to be chosen such as Psychology, Biology, Art, Drama, History, Science and Political. In order to graduate, Sims must complete four years of university; if they fail a semester, Sims are placed on academic probation and also must repeat the semester. Plus, this expansion pack also introduces Zombies, a new type of Sim.
