The Sims 2 Nightlife is a life simulation video game developed by maxis and published by Aspyr Media for Mac. It is the second expansion pack for The Sims 2. It was released on March 27, 2006 for mac OS X platform. It only enables single player mode and rated as T by ESRB, M by OFLC and 12+ by PEGI.

Features

The Sims 2 Nightlife provides new downtown area which offers various entertainment activities for the Sims including bowling, karaoke, dining, clubs, pubs and photo booth. Plus, it also includes a dating mini game that allows players to engage in their Sim’s relationships in greater depth. Besides that, it also features new inventories, new interactions and new objects. Besides that, with this expansion pack, players’ Sims are capable to leave gifts or hate letters at the Sim’s home which depending on the results of the dates. It also introduces the Pleasure Aspiration, which Sims with this aspiration craves enjoyment in many different ways whilst they fear embarrassment. Furthermore, it also introduces new reward object alled the ReNuYu SensoOrb, which enables any Sim to change their aspiration at any time. In addition, Sims is also allowed to own their own cars instead of just relying on carpool to get to work or get to school. There are various models and colours featured. Plus, the game also allows players to customized swimming pools more creatively with new added pool features including new diagonal shaped swimming pool tool, which can be used to create extensive shapes not previously possible. It also adds two new radio stations, Oldies and Classical stations.
