Summary: Bought as an Xmas present for our daughter (after much mothering). She played it on a few occasions before she very quickly became bored with and it hasn't been used since. I tried it - purely from a curiosity point of view - boring, garbage, like watching paint dry.
Summary: This game is like a cryptic crossword. The challenges range from trivial to you've-got-no-chance. I solved some parts straightaway and some parts I gave up on because I knew I'd never figure them out.
Summary: This game is brillint, this is more of a walk through different imaginary worlds where you complete a puzzle here and there. As im a Teacher, i use this game to support my lessons. A really great tool / recousce to use in the primary classroom. Myst 3 exile is a brilliant and fun game to play.
Summary: I thought the original MYST game was amazing- although being about 9 I never managed to finish it... I suspect I never will as no computer I own will play it :(... I never played MYST II (Riven) but i thought Exile was really good!
Summary: I am sure this game is great - but could not get it to work on my OS 10.5 Mac. Lots of time spent searching for clues on the internet, following instructions, trying to get hold of the manufacturers, but nothing worked.
Summary: This game has to be one of the worst games I've had the misfortune to play. Everything from the story to the puzzles feel out of place and almost wedged in as an after-thought once they were happy with the graphics.
Summary: Myst III Exile is a memorable experience. Please play it. Better by far than any other adventure game. Myst was stunning; Riven was beautiful but irritatingly illogical; Exile is art. Amazing lifelike visuals. Tough but logical and consistent puzzles. Sounds and music that stay with you.
Summary: Bought the collectors' edition, and boy was I glad of the strategy guide. Managed to get through several of the worlds unaided, but hated the worlds where it was necessary to draw diagrams and make notes to yourself.
