Features

American History Lux starts with the colonization of North America and the rise of the United States, and follows through with the World Wars and US overseas campaigns. Each war comes as a realistic map outlining the important cities and geography of the time with background information and links to full Wikipedia histories to complete interactive learning experience. It also features four varying levels of difficulty to provide a good challenge for newcomers and experienced Luxers. If a player beats the game at General level, a special super-hard difficulty will unlock itself. The free American History Lux demo is limited to the first three wars. Full registration gives access to all the included maps throughout history. In the Mac version sliders are added to control the volume of the music and sounds, and fullscreen flickering problem that appeared on some CRT monitors is fixed. A missing connection in the Iraq War map is also fixed. This game also properly appears as a universal binary in the MacOS Finder and support for multiple user profiles was previously added in version 1.07. It is however, no longer supports MacOS 10.2 systems.
