Excerpt: I have used everything from point and shoot to 8x10 and many different lens and cmaera combinations This lens is a real joy. its currently paired with my trusty d700 but the lens is so good i may just have to get a d810 and push this lens to the limit. Nothing nothing beats a superior prime lens.

Excerpt: Paired with my Nikon D800 this lens is wonderful. I used to prefer autofocus lenses but this is the one I reach for now unless I absolutely need my auto focus lens. It's simple enough to use and totally compatible with the FX functions on the D800.
Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight
Excerpt: This lens lives on my D800, i rarely use anything else. I travel with my beloved Nikkor 28-300, and this Zeiss beauty on the body, It takes some time to get use to the manual focus, but when you get a hold, it becomes so natural.
Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Nice Bokeh, Strong Construction
Excerpt: I have had the Zeiss 100 and the 21 going on two years. These two lens are without peer!! I added the 50MP a year ago to cover the middle range. It took some time to get used to manual focus (again).
Pros: Consistent Output, Nice Bokeh, Rugged, Strong Construction
