Carl Zeiss C Biogon T* 2,8/35 ZM
24 January 2014
Conclusion: The Carl Zeiss C Biogon T* 2,8/35 ZM is a compact lens for rangefinder cameras with a moderate wide-angle field of view. It's extremely sharp from edge to edge, and worthy of our Editors' Choice award.
Pros: Very compact. All-metal build. Extremely sharp at all apertures.
Conclusion: This Zeiss 35mm f/2.8 C Biogon ZM is optically superb, but its unique filter size makes it a bear to deploy as part of a larger system. I have a real problem with having to buy and carry a second set of 43mm filters to support this lens in actual shooting.
Zeiss C Biogon T* 35mm f/2.8 ZM on Sony NEX - Review / Lab Test Report
30 July 2011
Conclusion: The Zeiss C Biogon T* 35mm f/2.8 is supposed to deliver great images on film but it doesn't really harmonize well with the Sony sensor of the NEX-5. The center image quality is simply great even at max.
