Soft lens, and the macro doesn't work on the Olympus 14-42mm zoom

Summary: This fisheye attachment is mediocre - at least on my Olympus 14-42 rev. II zoom. And the macro attachment doesn't work at all - the lens will not focus with it on. I ended up returning this for a refund. In truth, I'd give the fisheye 2.5 stars, and the macro zero stars.
Summary: Purchased for mod webcam enclosure. There is vignette unless digital zoom is popped up a bit. I can't blame the lens, perhaps the problem is with my design. The image is satisfactory and all told, the lens works well for the purpose.
Summary: It says on the description that this product fits a standard kit lens on any of the rebel series alongside the other models they listed. BUT IT DOESN'T!!! I received this product and to my dismay did not fit any of my lenses. Along with this purchase you would also have to buy attachments that would make this lens usable. A wasted purchase but a fun eye piece to look through if you're bored.
Summary: Bought this to use on a Lensbaby. 1. This lens is advertised as a Fisheye lens. While it is a wide angle lens, it is NOT a Fisheye lens. As a wide angle lens it works fine, just not a Fisheye. 2. Can ONLY work with macro attachment on lens. Can NOT attach lens without it. Macro attachment works fine with or without "Fisheye" attached. If you take off the macro attachment "Fisheye" can't be used (maybe with an adapter, but lens doesn't come with one.
Love the fisheye. Hate seeing the rim of the lens.

Summary: The price is right. The quality is great. The fisheye effect is as advertised. But why do I see the rim of the lens in the shot? Frustrating. I made sure to not zoom the camera as directed, but still I see the rim of the lens. I haven't played around with my cropping tool in iMovie '11 to see if I can eliminate the distracting frame of lens, but I'll give that a shot next.
Summary: Lens seems to be decent, as long as the sun isn't out. If you're shooting outside, the sun must be directly behind you of you WILL get a lot of lens flare. That is the only complaint I have, but it's a pretty big complaint.
Summary: It's an okay fisheye. It was my first fisheye I ever used, so it was good for me, but recently I started getting more advanced fisheyes like the Opteka OPT-SC37FE fisheye I just ordered that perform better, and obviously cost more. But this is definetely a good starter fisheye. The fisheye effect is basically like a lot of other fisheye's out there, but if you use your adapter ring and take of the macro on this fisheye, thread the fisheye (without macro) onto the adapter...
