  • Summary: Bitte Sehen Sie den Bericht in Deutsch im 2.Teil. This is an excellent lens, especially for the price. It can be used 4-fold – with 4 different focal length as a very fast f/1.4 lens: 40mm on a 35mm Leica or Voigtlander or Hexar RF or Leica M or SONY NEX9 or VG900 52mm on a Leica M8 60mm on an APSC digital Body like NEX or Fuji 80mm as short tele for Portraiture on a m4/3 like Olympus M1 or Panasonic GX7 In my opinion it is soft at f/1.4, however each lens is a tool,...

  • Summary: This lens - better than the old Leitz Elmarit-C 40/2.8: it is a new one and lightfull, it is nice precision and accurately made and the same size small. One of the best everyday M-camera lens.

Buy this Lens if you want a fast lens w/ a little wiggle room for framing!

  • Summary: This is a great lens for someone who wants to get into the M mount systems. Since there are only a few cameras that have frame lines for the 40mm field of view, it will take some getting used to to frame your shots. Overall the build quality is incredible. This truly rivals the Leica lenses as far as build quality goes. The only thing I found is that it is kind of soft at F 1.4.
