Summary: buy this lens in September 2014 for the little use I he had not seen the detail when used in 28mm which the focus is lost and 16mm works well, now I ask the dealer change the lens or the repair and tells me that is no longer in charge, talk to Tokina to send me comment warranty and the dealer is not...
Summary: I'm pretty disappointed in the product I received from this vendor. It was obviously an open box item that had been returned several times because the lens was defective. It was not sharp at any aperture. I ended up returning it and buying another lens from Adorama which was very new and very sharp.
Excerpt: First one arrived backfocusing SOOB(straight out of the box). I had to do some micro adjustment to get the center focus to a happy place. Did not feel comfortable with it after a while so I returned it. Second lens arrive and was soft all around the edges.
Summary: This lens was wildly erratic. I often got greatly overexposed photos no matter how I changed the settings. I had to shoot without a wide lens on many of my vacation pics because this lens was so unpredictable. When it worked it did fine, but I couldn't depend on it.
Summary: It's the second copy that I get. The lens really looks sharp, but the item just arrived and showed problems in the connectors. My previous copy that I returned had problems with focus. I'm not sure anymore if I'm going to try any other version.
Summary: This is a perfectly nice lens, just don't order it here. The tracking # said it had been signed for, but I never signed for it. Instead, it was dumped on my neighbor's porch. I live in an urban area, and this is a $700 item.
