Conclusion: The Tokina 11-16mm is a high-quality budget alternative to the Canon and Nikon. It's set apart from the other lenses by its f/2.8 maximum aperture across the whole zoom range and mechanism for changing from AF to MF. The Tokina performed well on our test charts, producing images with relatively sharp corners. Chromatic aberration is quite severe though. Overall, this is a more expensive third-party lens, but its constant f/2.8 aperture is a nice touch.
