  • Pros: Affordable, Excellent in low light, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight, Nice Bokeh, Strong Construction, Very Sharp
  • Cons: NONE

  • Excerpt: I have alway used nikons lenses. They are always sharper than the others on the market, but when I decided to get a wide angle zoom, I didnt want to pay $. So I thought I would give the Tokina a shot at $. Glad I did! I would say its as sharp as my nikon zooms, and the build quality is rather impressive.
  • Pros: Sharp, Strong Construction, True Color
  • Cons: None at this time

  • Excerpt: The Tokina has nearly replaced my Nikon kit lens. My intention was to use it for some star photography, but all of that changed when I started taking some street photos. Consistently tack-sharp and quick to focus.
  • Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight

Excellent lens

  • Summary: I bought this for use at aircraft museums where space is tight and the light is not ideal. This lens has been perfect for that use. The combination of fast and wide has resulted in all of shots being keepers. Auto focus is quick, but not really needed as everything is typically at infinity. I was expecting to encounter flare problems but have not encountered any. I strongly reccomended this lens for anyone looking for a fast and wide solution at a reasonable price.

  • Excerpt: It's one of my basic lens that I use to record wedding video with my Nikon D7100. It works very good in low light conditions where I could say that almost always I can find an appropriate ISO level for an aperture of my tokina and get a good perfomance.
  • Pros: Fast / accurate auto-focus, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Heavy

  • Excerpt: This lens is incredable. I use this lens for weddings, realestate videos and land scapes photgraphy on my t3i. If I still shot action sports like Rollerblading/Skating I would use it for that too. It dose produce a flare but but im not complaining it makes some shots look epic and cinematic.
  • Pros: Durable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Land Scapes, Low Light, Strong Construction, Wide
  • Cons: Tough To Attach
