Summary: For the money this is the best super wide out there. Do not waste your money on Sony's effort, this is better, faster, less costly, better made. I got retired my Tamron 10-25 for this lens and could not be happier.
Summary: I bought this for use at aircraft museums where space is tight and the light is not ideal. This lens has been perfect for that use. The combination of fast and wide has resulted in all of shots being keepers. Auto focus is quick, but not really needed as everything is typically at infinity.
Great Wide for a D7100 or any Crop Sensor Nikon with an in camera focus motor.

Summary: This is one of my go-to lenses now. Image clarity is great it focuses quickly and is a great value for a wide lens on a budget. I use it on a Nikon D7100 and love it. Summary: After AMZN produced yet another amazing turnaround to deliver this lens 2 days before my overseas trip, I still had little time left to experiment with the lens on my Nikon D7000. However, in foresight, I had purchased a chest+shoulder harness to lug around the combined weight of D7000 (a tank) and...
Summary: Even at f/2.8 this thing is sharp. I'm using it on a D7000 and it's plain wonderful. Good contrast and good focus. The focus mode selector is very nice. This thing is a tank. If you're worried about build quality, don't. This thing is fairly heavy but it feels solid.
Summary: I live in Daytona Beach FL and bought this lens primarily for Astrophotography and interior photography on my Nikon D7100. I've waited 8 months before making my review to see how it held out for regular use. I own 4 other lenses, all Nikkor.
Summary: I bought this lens before going on vacation to several national parks out west (Bryce, Zion, Grand Canyon). I loved being able to take wide landscape shots, and occasionally used it with the Hoya PRO1 circular polarizer to darken the skies and bring out detail in the landscape.
