Awesome lens with issues

Excerpt: Quality build, optics are amazing. Lens was amazing but had focus issues with my 6D. The focus was erratic and failed focus 3 or 10 shots. Wanted to love the lens, but the focus didn't cut it. I wish Tamron would fix this issues. If they did it would be an awesome lens.
Pros: Durable, Nice Bokeh, Rugged, Strong Construction
It MAY be a Great Lens, but I got a "Grey Market" Lens w/out a Warranty --Beware of who you buy from!

Summary: Just got the Lens today, and after a few hours of frustration, it's going back. It very well may be a great Lens, but mine came from an outfit called Web Offers, Amazon Prime and all that, Amazon MarketPlace,2-day shipping, and a good price.... BUT nowhere in the copy I read did it say that this was a "Grey Market" Lens, not supported by Tamron USA. As soon as the lens arrived, and I saw the warranty in Japanese, I called Tamron USA, and gave them the serial number.
Excerpt: Bought this lens great by its self but it will not work with any tele-converter!!!! Not even Tamron per their web site and e-mails. Sigma's 70-200mm works with their tele-converters but image quality is not much better than the 120-400mm sigma. Here is the answer buy a Sigma 120-300mm F2.8 Sports lens it rocks with both of Sigma's tele-converters. This is a very heavy lens but I love the Sigma 120-300mm F2.8 Sports lens.
