Not So Good

Excerpt: For Tamron's sake, I hope I just got a bad individual lens. This lens received an excellent rating by DXOMark, so I bought it. The lens performed terribly for me. I had to underexpose every shot to get a normal exposure (strange but true), the contrast was poor, and the sharpness was much less sharp...
Summary: I rented this lens to shoot a large event. My go to lens in the Canon L version of this very lens (I also rent that one). The Tamron version took more force to zoom, in many cases was slow to focus and its photos contain noticeable chromatic aberration.
Summary: Buyers beware. They are selling the Faulty Lenses. I bought this and it had a faulty Image stabilizer. The pictures clicked with Stabilizer on were blurry and the ones taken with stabilizer off were still better but that sharp either.
Summary: I read many reviews before ordering this lens . I read some reviews mentioned about good and bad copy. But still many said it is a great lens so I decided to order one over Canon 24-70 mm f2.8.

Summary: after five thousands plus pictures my experience with this lens... if you are serious about your photgraphy my advice don't buy this lens, very dark corners, autofocus slow [ even slow autofocus with nikon 4s ] if you take vertical shots lens refuse to autofocus? strange.
