Willing to Try Again

R40 Photos, B&H Photo
14 April 2015
  • Excerpt: I have to admit, the lens produced extremely blurry photos. B&H has told me to send it back in that the lens might be defective. I will do just that, but should I receive the same results, I will request a refund. Be advised, this is the only issue that I have encountered since dealing with B&H.
  • Cons: Blurry Focus, Lens Creep, Poor in Low Light, Slow Focus

I love this lens

G. L. Pedersen, Amazon
4 April 2015
  • Summary: I love this lens! The range from 18 to 200 is perfect for every shot, and the convenient size of the lens means I use the camera much more than I did before. This is the perfect vacation lens when you only want to bring one lens. All the extras in the kit were a pleasant surprise.

and a wonderful lens. While I am not a serious photographer/snob

Amazon Customer, Amazon
2 April 2015
  • Summary: Completely as advertised, arrived on time, and a wonderful lens. While I am not a serious photographer/snob, I do find that it works well, is solid and high quality, and allows me to take excellent photos. I highly recommend it as a wonderful alternative to the $900 Nikon "name brand" version.

Good value for an all-in-1 zoom

Al S, B&H Photo
28 February 2015
  • Excerpt: No change to do long-term test (camera died), but the lens performed really well. It's sharp enough, it's light for its range, and it's compact in size. One drawback, AF is a bit slow, expected for a megazoom. If you're looking for an all-in-1 lens, this is it.
  • Pros: Consistent Output, Easily Interchangeable, Lightweight
  • Cons: Slow Focus
