Works Great

  • Excerpt: I've used this lens to shoot fireworks, birds and the super moon. I was very pleased with the results. The motor is very quiet and did not disturb the birds even at a fairly close distance. I purchased this because I wanted something that would give me a broader range of options without constantly changing lens for close up and distance. I love taking photos of wildlife and landscapes.
  • Pros: Durable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Heavy

Absolutely Great Product

  • Excerpt: I really questioned this product since I have always used Nikon products. I wanted to have an all-in-one lens without having to constantly change lens. The price was inticing compared to the same in Nikon. After receiving the product I used it for the first time for a one year old birthday party using the wide angle and zooming in for action shots. I was truly satisified with the results. Gtreat not having to change lens and loose time in getting the shots I want.
  • Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Great All-in-one Product, Lightweight, Strong Construction

Tamron / Canon 18-270mm zoom lens

PanoMann, B&H Photo
19 June 2014
  • Excerpt: Documentary and conceptual imagery has always been my genre of choise, but lately I have been recording wildlife photography. I enjoy the versatility of an all in one lens but always been a bit unsure about the quality of a zoom lens especially at both ends of the zooming spectrum leaning toward the 18mm and the 270mm areas, but after extensive testing I find that this lens is the highest quality I been told about by others that have one.
  • Pros: Compact All In One, Compact Design, Easy To Use, High Quality, Improves Picture Quality
  • Cons: Needs Double Coat Filter, Not Good With 2x Convert
