Excerpt: I bought this lens as an alternative to my 35mm that I use to shoot concerts. I also wanted a lens with a zoom so I could start doing wildlife photography. And this lens can be used for both of those scenarios. It was very inexpensive and works EXCELLENT with my Nikon D3100.
Pros: Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Inexpensive, Lightweight
Excerpt: I seriously thought I would have to pay around $[$]for a replacement lens until I found this brand and site! Such a great website and the lens works just as good if not better than Nikon! You will definitely have me as a repeat customer.
Excerpt: The 18-200 zoom range make this a great general use lens. I have used this lens for a local "First Friday" events as well as the Grand Prix of Baltimore. I have taken some great photos with this lens. My only issue with this lens is with the loose zoom mechanism.
Tamron presents a value for a budget lens. Decide if it fits your needs.

Summary: I've used and owned this Tamron lens for three plus years and has earned its place as a "go-to" lens for me. Due to the cheaper price point, it has become my favorite travel lens. This is because the wide focal range of 80 to 200.
Summary: Exactly what it shows in picture. All in perfect condition. Lens works great. One thing is its not as fast in af as some of my other lenses, so its not always good in fast action shots, but great for everything else.
