Summary: works very well on my Nikon D5100, I compared it to sigma 18-250 on Sony A55 it took better pictures at the long end of Osprey inflight ,then the Sigma. That may be me or the difference in cameras .I like them both. Would be hard to say which I like best.
Summary: I was looking for a lens that I could use as an all purpose lens, rather than having to change lenses all the time. I'm not a professional photographer by any means, but I love to take pictures....landscapes, family, wildlife, flowers, etc.
Summary: so far really liking this lens - it replaced both our 28mm-50mm and our 50mm-250mm I decided on it because we were going on vacation and I did not want to be swapping lenses all the time, making taking opportune photos so much nicer, no missing shots due to switching lenses This was recommended by a...
Summary: I have been looking for a good all around lens to replace my 18-55 and 55-200 Nikon lenses. This is a great fit. Good quality, compact compared to other lenses in this focal range. I have taken thousands of pictures with this lens since I purchased it.
Pros: Good bokeh. Light weight for a 270mm zoon lens. 1/2 the price of the Nikon 18-300mm and lighter weight. Great pictures.
Summary: Excellent lens. Pros: Great results. Very convenient to use considering its zoom and wide angle in one lens. lens lock. Cons: lens opens when not in use at certain angles, but the lens lock takes care of it.
