Grey List At Best

Summary: I tried to register this lens on the Tamron USA site and got an error code w/ the serial code provided on a piece of paper. No serial code was on the lens itself. No paperwork came with the lens. No booklet etc. The seller (D-Solution) claimed I could not get the six year warranty from Tamron because it was a grey market lens from Korea. He suggested I buy a year of expensive drop and break insurance from him.
Summary: Works for half hour on my Nex-6 then got an error message saying the camera couldn't recognize the lens. Manual and auto focus modes were both glitchy too. Clarity was okay, but kit lens was still better.
Summary: This lens looks and feels cheap, but having downloaded lots of sample images taken with it, I decided I could live with its defects and bought one. It arrived loose in a box about six times the size of the lens box inside with only a small screw of brown paper for company. On the camera, it gave about one fairly sharp image in 20, the rest being oddly blurred - more like camera shake than poor focus.
Summary: Ich mach es kurz.
