Summary: Used on a Sony NEX-6 to extend (1.7x) the reach of the kit 55-210 zoom lens (with a Goja 49-58mm stepup adapter), I've been very happy with the results. Of course, handholding this adapter with the zoom fully extended is a challenge for those with less than steady hands. I've also found it fits my old Olympus OM10 film lenses that I use with the NEX-6.
Summary: I was late in the game on finding a Tele lens for my Sony DSC H50. The official tele lens for DSC H50 is no more available at Sony. Therefore the price of that in the market is very high ($200-$300). So after going through all the reviews on Sony VCL-DH1758 Tele Lens, I purchased this. As this is 58mm and H50 adapter is 74mm, I got a 74-58 mm step-down ring for $4.00 from ebay. This product came on time and I received the step-down ring also.
Summary: First of all - great service from Amazon. Bought this for my DSC-H5 and I couldn't be happier. If you own an H series Sony don't buy an off brand converter lens - the VCL-M1758 is made specifically for the H series. Just remember not to use it with your native lens set to wide angle (zoom out to at least 115 or 120mm focal length). Also you will not loose any f-stops with this teleconverter.
