Blurry in the corners and on the edges, even at f/11

Summary: I shot some landscapes with this lens, and everything is fine until you get to the long axis of the image. Not only are the corners soft (common with wide angle lenses) but the left and right edges are blurry as well--even at f/11. This lens is only marginally better than the 16-55 power zoom. It also has a substantial amount of chromatic aberration (color fringes). The fisheye attachment just makes matters worse--big cyan streaks on bright edges. Yikes.
Great for wider view. Severe stretching at edges. Fun lens to use.

Summary: This lens is great IF you have the 16mm and it will get you to 12mm. If you have the 20mm it will also work, but will get you to 16mm, which begs the question why you would not use or get the 16mm in the first place. Non of the other lenses work - at least the ones that I have 18-55 and 16-50 - and will results in severe vignetting. The lens is light, and attaches easily to the 16mm (and 20mm).
Summary: excellent value.. but i also have the fisheye adapter and my personal taste prefers the fisheye. however this is still a very good ultra wide angle lens with minimal to no distortion that would be excellent for photographing architecture and tight landscapes.
Excerpt: This is great if you're looking for the lightest weight option. Photos are just like others have said, best if you stop the lens down to f8 or so. Although using it wide open for most people is fine. I use this lens mainly with the wide converter, which adds size and weight. But this was a much cheaper option than the 10-18 sony or 12 zeiss. It's good enough for me, and I typically blow the photos up pretty large, 20x30 or 36x48. Quality is plenty good for that.
Summary: I read the reviews about this pancake lens and the review said that this was a great lens. Once I placed this lens on my camera the picture quality was not good. The images look fuzzy and not clear. I tried to adjust my Sony Nex 5N setting but did not make a difference in the quality. Overall the lens is smaller and flat which reduced the weight of the camera. The lens also take wide angle photos but they are not good quality.
