Awesome shots great lens.

  • Summary: This lens is really sharp. It's a little different from a lower end telephoto because you have to make some adjustments manually to start to get it into focus. But, once you are used to that, it's awesome in the clarity.

  • Excerpt: First of all this a very well made lens. It is part of Sony's "G" series and worth the extra price. Quality feel, quick focusing. It is very sharp and I've gotten some great pictures with it. But it is also surprisingly light weight.
  • Pros: Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight

Sharpness is amazing!

Sunshine, B&H Photo
4 April 2014
  • Excerpt: I use this lens on a sony nex 6 and it has given me the ability to really zoom into nature. Putting this lens on my camera gives me about a 450 zoom capacity. The pictures are sharp even when I am holding the camera and the weight is still incredibly light.
  • Pros: Consistent Output, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight
  • Cons: Poor in Low Light
