  • Conclusion: The Sony 135 f/2.8 [T4.5] STF SAL-135F28 is a unique lens, which produces a very soft and smooth background blur and for some people that might be enough to justify purchase of the lens. However, it has some downsides. As a portrait lens it's a bit long on APS DSLRs (and at the time of writing Sony does not have a full frame DSLR).

Sony 135mm f/2.8 [T4.5] STF ( SAL-135F28 ) - Review / Test Report

31 October 2008
  • Conclusion: The Sony 135mm f/2.8 [T/4.5] STF is the ultimate cream machine. Regarding the quality of its bokeh (out-of-focus blur) it outclasses all other lenses tested to date so if this is a #1 priority for you just bow to the inevitable and go for it to enjoy images as smooth as silk. That said it doesn't stop here. The lens is extremely sharp even at max. aperture and neither vignetting, distortion nor lateral CAs are something to worry about in field conditions.

Sony 135 mm F2.8 (T4,5) STF objektív

13 January 2009
  • Summary: Különleges és egyszersmind legendás a Sony 135mm-es STF optikája, melyet főként portréfotózásra ajánlanak. Adoptációs lencsetagjának köszönhetően a mosott háttér még szebb, mint a hagyományos megoldásoknál. Itt az ideje tehát letesztelni ezt a sokat dicsért objektívet!
