Summary: I bought this lens from Sigma Outlet hoping to save over $250 for a refurbished one. As soon as I mounted it on my Canon EOS 5D Mark3, I realized there was a ring halo toward the edge of the frame. I could see this with my shots and with Liveview.
Summary: ok i was really wanting to start shoot macro. i was looking at all the macro lenses. i had bought the extension tude to use on my 50mm prime len. tubs did a good job but not what i was looking to get out of macro.so i narrowed it down to three lens, 1.
Summary: This is an absolutely beautiful lens. When coupled with a Sigma 2x converter the magnification is amazing. You will need to use manual focus and tripod, but the pictures are really outstanding. Highly recommended for those of you who do not mind doing things by hand (manual).
Summary: I rented this lens from lensrental before I bought on Amazon. I have a Canon 5D Mark iii with only a Canon 85mm f1.2 lens. The Sigma 150 has nice boket (not quite as great as my Canon 85mm). Might be slightly heavier than the 85 mm but the ring around it makes it easier to hold.
