Summary: This LENS was not worth it. I had great expectations with the lens, but it didn't fit my Nikon D3100, although it says all over that it's for NIkon. I will now have to see if I pay more to change the ring so that it fits my camera or take it to a local pawn shop.

Summary: hard to move the macro button on the side poor quality images i picked this lens in error and was to late to cancel order when i noticed this i meant to order a different lens so i am suck with it unless amazon will take it back
Summary: The first time I put it down to bad luck, the scary grating noise it started to make when it tried to focus. I returned it got a refund (well done Amazon) and bought another. Yet again after about six months the mechanism is failing.
Summary: purchased the Sony fit version; **UPDATED** sent the item back: gears failed after very LITTLE use- total garbage for the price. NOT acceptable quality at all. Loud, distressing, grinding sound and total loss of auto focus.
