Excerpt: I liked the picture quality on my 70D but returned it due to squeaking focusing motor noise. The replacement lens works fine so far. I give B&H 5 starts for making it a hassle free transaction.
I have no issues with auto focus as some reviews suggest.
A real review not a complaint. I bought it used and works great.

Summary: First, People take the time to write a descent review. No one wants to hear you complain. The lens was bought used. I've had for a month now. I use it with a Canon 7D. I like using this lens for landscapes as well as portraits. Pros: It's fast, the consistent f2.8 and it's build.

Summary: I have been using this lens for couple days and I can tell you that I love this lens. The focus is fairly fast and it takes sharp pictures comparing to my old Canon 18-135 STM. I take away one star because it a little noisy when focus and you will hear the focus noise when recording the video.
Excerpt: Great upgrade from the Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 lens. Faster auto-focus and a consistent large aperture are a huge plus. While the lens sometimes produces a high pitched whine when focusing and the printed distance scale doesn't line up with the distance scale dot, neither issue stops me from...
Summary: Best lens I have bought so far. Takes amazingly sharp pictures and beautiful bokeh. I love it. However, while in video mode, the motor makes a ticking noise while focus hunting. Other than that perfect.
Excerpt: I am generally a prime user, but for hiking and video work (since this has optical stabilization), it's a really decent piece of kit. The build quality good, and having a constant aperture of f/2.8 through the zoom is great for the price.
Summary: is a great lens is not so expensive as canon lenses and can take great pictures, auto focusing with this lens has been not so bad but not accurate at all times. Construction of the lens is not state of the art it sounds cheap when you shake the lens and the front part of the lens can get little...
