The best for APS-C cameras

Douglas Cunha, B&H Photo
22 May 2013
  • Excerpt: This is the most extreme fish eye lens you can get for a APS-C camera. With a full 180º view, you get a full circular image, like the Sigma 8mm FE on a full frame câmera. Good lens quality. Luminous, fast and an excellent minimal distance of focus.
  • Pros: Clear Optics, Easy To Use, Firm Mount, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Soft Corns

At last a circular fisheye!

Rich the fish, B&H Photo
12 September 2010
  • Excerpt: I use this lens to create stunning and unique photographs. It is optically sharp and extremely well made. Use a horizontal rail attachment to place the vertical plane of the lens beyond your tripod legs. So far, I am totally satisfied with this product, it performs well on my K-10 & K-20 bodies.

  • Excerpt: I'm using it in a research project on daylighting architectural space. The circular fisheye allows you to analyze the entire space in a glance...and it works seamlessly with my Nikon D5000. No down side.
  • Pros: Consistent Output, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight, Rugged

  • Excerpt: I have been shooting sport photos for a while now and was looking for something new to spice up the images. I wasn't sure how I could use the fisheye but now I have had a chance to use it... wow. I can get some excellent images from a perspective I have never used before. It has taken me a bit of practice and it has been worth every second. I love this lens.

I would buy this product again and again

  • Excerpt: for special architectural effects when capturing a large building. Try composing the frame with an image in the foreground and use the sloping background to enhance the theme. For instance, using a fisheye lens when shooting a tulip field in Holland adds interest when foreground flowers feature prominently and a quaint windmill farm frames the background.
  • Pros: Clear Optics, Consistent Effect, Easily Mounted, Firm Mount, Strong Construction

What fun!

Mick Klass, B&H Photo
5 March 2009
  • Excerpt: I purchased this lens to match a full-frame circular fisheye on a Nikon D300. This lens fits the bill. The images are stunning and sharp. This is the only circular fisheye for less than a full frame sensor, but that is not the only reason to recommend it. It is a well made lens that delivers great results.
  • Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Lightweight, Quick Focus, Sharp Focus
