"Used" is not a bad word ...

DrBob, Amazon
7 August 2014
  • Summary: I'm always a little aprehensive when ordering something unseen and used. I am very pleased with this purchase, however; and with the savings over purchasing a similar new lens. The lens works as expected on my Pentax K5 and seems to be in nearly new condition.

Would still be good even at $100+

trixieandmick, Ebay
1 June 2014
  • Summary: If you are wondering about buying this lens the main thing you should consider is if you are purchasing one that is designed to work with the digital line (assuming you have a digital camera, otherwise it will certainly work just fine with a film camera).

GREAT LENS AT A VERY REASONABLE PRICE

Dixon Steele, Amazon
6 October 2013
  • Summary: The Macro feature is especially useful and easy to use, offering various magnifications simply by zooming in or out. The zoom range from wide angle to portrait length will cover the ordinary needs of most of us, and is provided in a lightweight package that won't make you feel like you've been tied...

It's a cheap lens, but it's cheap and it's a lens

Josh N., Amazon
18 July 2013
  • Summary: That's pretty much the good and the bad of it. I ordered mine because I liked the range on this lens and it's cheap, so it should get me by until I can get a better lens. That said, I wasn't expecting much from this lens, and I got about what I expected.

  • Summary: Inexpensive lens. This is my first macro lens and if I like shooting macro, I will likely buy a better lens. I am happy with this as a starter lens.

Ok, not great.

savvy-sophisticate, Ebay
3 September 2012
  • Summary: The lens was ok, but it does not like Canon Cameras. If the battery is not fully charged, the camera will give a 99 error. It will also give the error if you switch to macro.
